ROCHESTER, NY. On Friday, Aug, 7, 2020, I was fortunate to accompany my Archi-Technology team members on a private tour of the new Sands-Constellation Critical Care Center (S4C) at Rochester General Hospital.

With a total estimated construction budget of $260 million, the S4C is the second largest construction project in Rochester's history exceeded only by the construction of the Greater Rochester International Airport.

The tour was conducted by our S4C Project Manager Lars Meyris, RCDD, who has been working on this state-of-the-art healthcare project for 5+ years as the Primary Technology Consultant.

Highlights of the S4C project include:

• New 7-story addition to Rochester General Hospital.
• Total of 330,000 interior sq. ft.
• A brand new surgical care center, and a women's health and newborn care center.
• 36 private patient rooms per floor for medical, surgical, and oncology departments with a total of more than 200 rooms.
• More than 600 miles of wires and cabling.
