Project Description
Attached to the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) and Strong Memorial Hospital, this $145 million new building project will have eight floors and approximately 245,000 sq.-ft. of space dedicated to children and their families. The new hospital features 52 private, patient rooms, a greatly expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and various spaces designed to meet the needs of children and their families. Archi-Technology's Role Archi-Technology was the lead technology designer for this project as well as the project coordinator of University of Rochester Medical Center staff, vendors and contractors. Technology Construction Management (TCM) services were also used by URMC to ensure correct vendor installation and interoperability of the technology infrastructure and interconnected systems.
