Hammondsport Central School District recently used Archi-Technology's state-aidable planning services to evaluate its options for sharing educational content in the classroom. Archi-Technology LLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Dylan Mercier as Technology Consultant effective February 1, 2020. Dylan brings a strong skill set in the design, installation, and commissioning of technology infrastructure, AV and security systems, fire alarm, and other low-voltage building systems. As such, the costs and responsibility for our professional services are included in the architect's contract with the owner. For capital projects that are primarily focused on technology systems—e.g., an enterprise-wide technology infrastructure upgrade—the traditional contract model is flipped; i.e., the architect's services for AMEP design and construction management would be included in Archi-Technology's contract with the owner. Whether you know them as MDFs, IDFs, or CERs, the condition of your Technology Rooms (TRs)—the spaces that house your building’s IT equipment—are critical to reliable data transmission throughout your organization. Like any facility space, there are a variety of objective visual observations that can be made about the physical state of these Technology Rooms. These observations are typically good indicators of the condition of the rest of your technology infrastructure (i.e., cabling and pathways) that's installed behind walls that you can't see.
