flipping contracts with Architects

The prime-consultant model flips when the project is primarily one or more technology system installations or upgrades.

In a traditional construction project, Archi-Technology is a consultant acting under the direction of an architectural firm. As such, the costs and responsibility for our professional services are included in the architect's contract with the owner.

For capital projects that are primarily focused on technology systems—e.g., an enterprise-wide technology infrastructure upgrade—the traditional contract model is flipped; i.e., the architect's services for AMEP design and construction management would be included in Archi-Technology's contract with the owner.
